Intro was founded in Los Angeles in 2020. Mobrem recalled that while working on his home during the COVID-19 pandemic he wished he could get quick advice over a video call from a world-class interior designer, which led him to the idea of letting people pay to reach in-demand experts in many fields while letting the experts earn money for their time and knowledge.[1][3][3]
