Petr Borkovec
Petr Borkovec is a Czech financial entrepreneur, co-founder of Partners Financial Services and a leader of the Partners financial-business group. After studying and teaching at Mendel University in Brno, he developed a career in financial advice. He became co-CEO of Partners BankaPartners BankaPartners Banka is a Czech commercial bank headquartered in Prague that combines mobile banking with the Partners financial-adviser network. Its legal predecessor was established in 2020, obtained a banking licence in 2023 and began public operations in March 2024. Borkovec studied at the Faculty of Business and Economics of Mendel University in Brno and subsequently taught there. February 2026becoming bank CEO
Effective February 1, 2026, Borkovec succeeded the departing Marek Ditz as CEO of Partners Banka. The bank announced the transition on January 22 as part of its next development stage. The appointment differed from his earlier co-CEO arrangement alongside Ditz.[7]
August 2026views on in-app bitcoin access
In the August 5 bitcoin-service announcement, Borkovec argued that public interest contrasted with an unnecessarily complicated buying process, and advocated integrating it into the banking app. The service launched on August 10 with AnycoinAnycoinAnycoin is a Czech crypto-asset trading and custody service operated by MP Developers s.r.o. Marek Kyrsch and Martin Čech started the project in late 2018. It offers fiat and crypto-asset exchange to individuals and businesses and obtained Czech National Bank authorisation under MiCA in 2026.
