Hollywood TV (website Hollywood.tv, which calls itself HTV) is a celebrity entertainment video outlet in Southern California that shoots and distributes entertainment footage of Hollywood celebrities, red carpets, and award ceremonies. March 7, 2011Distribution Agreement With Reuters
In March 2011, Reuters announced that it would distribute content from the video website Hollywood.TV on its newly launched Reuters America service, making the outlet’s paparazzi-type celebrity footage shot in Southern California and beyond available to Reuters’ more than 700 service users. Reuters said the footage would meet the needs of entertainment programming and complement the celebrity and entertainment coverage Reuters already offered. The agreement between the two was a revenue-sharing deal, and the Reuters America service was available via Reuters’ then newly launched unified content platform.[1][1][2][2][1]
