1989年3月,他在Behavioral and Brain Sciences第12卷第1期發表“Sex differences in human mate preferences: Evolutionary hypotheses tested in 37 cultures”。[6]

International Consortium of Social and Personality Psychologists,在40多種文化中開展平行研究。[7]

出版The Evolution of Desire

The Evolution of Desire: Strategies of Human Mating,該書於1994年出版,2003年和2016年推出修訂版。[2]

出版The Dangerous Passion

The Dangerous Passion: Why Jealousy Is as Necessary as Love and Sex;書評認為,他主張嫉妒通過激發激情與承諾維繫長期關係,女性更易因情感背叛、男性更易因性背叛而嫉妒。[11]

出版The Murderer Next Door

The Murderer Next Door: Why the Mind Is Designed to Kill。[1]

任HBES主席

2005—2007年,他任Human Behavior and Evolution Society(HBES)主席。[7]

David J. Buller

出版Why Women Have Sex
