2017年製作與題材

2017年11月8日撤換Kevin Spacey

影片原定於2017年11月16日在洛杉磯AFI Fest舉行全球首映，後被撤下。11月8日，在多名男子指控J. Paul Getty一角的扮演者Kevin Spacey有性不當行為之後，Scott宣佈將Spacey從已完成的影片中完全刪除，改由Christopher Plummer飾演J. Paul Getty並立即重拍，同時力求維持12月22日的上映日期。⁠[3][4]
