2017年11月8日撤换Kevin Spacey

影片原定于2017年11月16日在洛杉矶AFI Fest举行全球首映，后被撤下。11月8日，在多名男子指控J. Paul Getty一角的扮演者Kevin Spacey有性不当行为之后，Scott宣布将Spacey从已完成的影片中完全删除，改由Christopher Plummer饰演J. Paul Getty并立即重拍，同时力求维持12月22日的上映日期。⁠[3][4]
