D. N. Jackson(Doss Nathan Jackson,1895年—1968年)是美國浸信會牧師、宗派組織者與報刊出版人,曾任 American Baptist Association 主席,參與創立 North American Baptist Association(今 Baptist Missionary Association of America),並出任 Conway Baptist College(今 Central Baptist College)首任校長。

1895年出生
Doss Nathan Jackson 生於1895年,是 James Ferguson Jackson 與 Josephine(Bridges)Jackson 的十二個孩子中最小的一個。[1]
1917年,Jackson 獲得 Jacksonville College 文學學士學位;此後又在芝加哥的 Moody Bible Institute(1920年至1921年)和普林斯頓大學(1925年至1926年)進修研究生課程,並獲得 Arkansas 州 Sheridan 的 Missionary Baptist College 授予的法學博士(LLD)學位。[1][1]

1918年,Jackson 與 Erma Oretus Gilbert 結婚,她的父親 C. A. Gilbert 時任 Texarkana 的 Baptist Sunday School Committee 業務經理。[1]
同年,時任 Texas 州 Jefferson 第一浸信會牧師、23歲的 Jackson 被 General Association of Baptists 選為 Baptist Sunday School Committee 總編輯。他作為該委員會成員參與起草新成立的浸信會聯合組織 American Baptist Association(ABA)的章程。[1][1]

1952年8月25日當選 Conway Baptist College 首任校長
新學院最初定名 Central College for Christian Workers,1952年秋開學前改名 Conway Baptist College,1961年再改名 Central Baptist College。1952年8月25日,Jackson 當選校長,並宣佈學院於9月15日開學。[2][2][2]

1954年3月27日辭去 Conway Baptist College 校長
Jackson 因籌款不足以支付償債、運營、課程和擴建開支而受到批評,校董會對1952年至1953年收入下降近1萬美元深感不安。1954年3月27日,他在董事會會議上辭職,Abner R. Reddin 於同年6月接任。[3][3][3]
1955年任 BMAA 神學院教授
Jackson 在 North American Theological Seminary(今 Baptist Missionary Association Theological Seminary)的發展中發揮了重要作用。1955年起,他在該神學院任神學與教會歷史教授,至1967年。[1][1]

1967年,Jackson 出任 Oklahoma City 的 Midwestern Baptist College 校長,任職至1968年去世。[1]

Jackson 於1968年去世。《American Baptist》1968年12月號刊登了他的訃告與生前最後一篇文章,1969年2月出版紀念專號。以色列的 John F. Kennedy Forest 為紀念他種下四棵樹,以色列政府向其遺孀 Erma 贈送了紀念牌匾。[1][1][1]
