1890年Royal Dutch成立

一批荷兰银行家等人士组建了Koninklijke Nederlandse Maatschappij tot Exploitatie van Petroleumbronnen in Nederlands-Indië（荷属东印度油井开发皇家公司），即后来的Royal Dutch。⁠[1]

1897年10月18日“Shell” Transport and Trading Company成立
