Reputation UP S.L. (Reputation Up Sociedad Limitada), the company that operates ReputationUP, began operations in Castellón de la Plana, Spain, on September 25, 2018; it was registered with the Castellón Commercial Registry on October 5 of that year, and its formation was published in the Official Gazette of the Commercial Registry (BORME) on October 16. Its registered corporate purpose includes technical and legal advisory services for managing the social media profiles and internet reputation of individuals, legal entities and the public and private sectors, as well as advisory services for monitoring false or negative information; its initial capital was €3,000, and Andrea Baggio was its sole shareholder and sole director.⁠[1][2][2][2][2][2][2][2][2]

On April 27, 2023, Reputation UP S.L. registered the loss of its single-member company status and a capital increase of €43,700, raising its subscribed capital from €3,000 to €46,700, with a corresponding amendment to its articles of association.⁠[3][3]

On May 14, 2025, ReputationUP announced that it had received accreditation from the Better Business Bureau (BBB). The announcement, datelined Miami, named Andrea Baggio and Juan Ricardo Palacio as the company’s two founders and chief executives, responsible for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and for the Americas, respectively.⁠[4][4][4][4][4][4]

The company describes its business as online reputation management and the removal of defamatory online content, organized into four stages, “cleaning, monitoring, protecting and improving,” and covering the surface web, deep web and dark web; it also offers services for political campaigns, sextortion, reputational risk analysis, World Check screening, financial reputation, cyber threat intelligence and a control room, and has launched two tools, RepUP Monitoring Tool and Reputation Score. The company says it has removed more than 875,000 pieces of false, negative or defamatory online content and that its monitoring tool has tracked more than 10 million keywords worldwide; as of October 2026, it had a presence in 14 countries in Europe and the Americas and a team drawn from 26 countries, including legal experts, political strategists, SEO and PR staff, cybersecurity experts and engineers, and its website was available in English, Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, German and Chinese.⁠[1][1][6][7][7][7][7][7][7][1]
