2022Start of Annual No-Logs Audits

Since 2022 Proton VPN has commissioned the European security auditing company Securitum to audit its no-logs policy each year, with the 2026 report being the fifth in a row. That report said the examined server infrastructure did not indicate logging of users’ browsing activity, and no persistent records were found that would allow a specific user to be linked to their activity.[3]

The official website says Proton VPN has more than 20,000 servers in more than 140 countries and offers apps for Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS, Android and iOS as well as browser extensions; its free plan has no data limits or ads but is limited to one device and servers in five countries.[4]
