While taking a taxi, Mago heard the driver talk about a family member mining Bitcoin. At the time, he was busy with a full-time job and did not get further involved.⁠[1]

During the significant downturn in the crypto market on “3·12,” Mago entered the crypto asset market and subsequently purchased Bitcoin through an exchange.⁠[1]

In August 2020, Mago registered the X account @magotalk. Through 2024, he took part mainly in public discussions on social platforms about crypto assets, NFTs, and Web3.⁠[2][3]

Episode 001, archived on the official website under April 26, 2025, was titled “New SEC Chair Takes Office: Regulatory Easing? Or Just ‘Old Wine in a New Bottle’?” Its topics included the regulatory stances of the previous and current SEC chairs, regulatory trends under Paul S. Atkins, and possible changes for ICOs, NFTs, DeFi, and on-chain asset trading.⁠[5]

After the first episode, MagoTalk continued with numbered episodes. The May episodes covered Web3 user growth and retention, the development of DeFi protocols, and the NFT narrative and community building of Snekkies.⁠[6][7][8]

On December 8, 2025, the vocabulary-learning product ABAB Word launched for students, professionals, and language learners. It offers personal word banks, AI word cards, definitions, example sentences, synonyms, and antonyms, with flashcard practice and spaced repetition to help users remember; it is available on the web and as an iPhone app.⁠[20][21]

On January 21, 2026, ABAB Link, a directory of AI tools and websites, launched. It gathers AI tools, agents, and useful web resources, with category navigation, on-site search, multi-platform search shortcuts, and featured products, and lists products submitted by developers and operators after review.⁠[22][23]

In March 2026, ABAB Time, a web app for managing and following up on relationships, launched for entrepreneurs, investors, operators, and other professionals who maintain client and partner relationships. It brings contact profiles, relationship groups, notes, interaction timelines, follow-up reminders, and birthdays into one workspace, records interactions by text or voice, and uses AI to summarize relationship context from saved records and suggest next steps and when to reconnect, leaving follow-up decisions to the user.⁠[24][25]

In April 2026, the online learning platform ABAB ClubABAB ClubABAB Club is a platform for learning and exchange in artificial intelligence, Web3, and finance, offering self-paced learning camps, course chapters, quizzes, progress tracking, a forum, and resource directories. Mago published “Money Code” under the name MAGO. The book discusses money, work, leverage, and personal decision-making in an age of artificial intelligence and digital networks. Mago’s book “AI is eating the world” examines how artificial intelligence is changing work, wealth, business, and trust. Its four parts, 20 chapters, and conclusion start from the falling cost of intelligence, move through writing, programming, search, learning, media, law, and finance, then cover cognitive leverage, workflows, agents, personal companies, and AI-native enterprises, and end with computing power, data centers, energy, AI sovereignty, and the trust premium. The Simplified and Traditional Chinese eBook editions were published on June 30, 2026, and the English edition on July 1.⁠[30]

Mago posted on X that AI should keep accelerating rather than slow down. He argued that fear of AI comes from uncertainty about the future; technologies such as printing, electricity, and the internet prompted similar debates when they spread, yet people adapted, and AI too will become infrastructure for work and daily life, so its development should not be halted or slowed.⁠[35]
