1987年畢業於IIT Kanpur
Lokvir Kapoor於1987年獲得Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur機械工程學士學位，後在Indian Institute of Management Bangalore取得MBA；加入Pine Labs之前，他在Schlumberger從事財務管理和業務拓展工作，任職地點包括印度和海外。[1]
