Helen Chu

Helen Wong Chu 生於香港。[1]
1969年畢業於 UCLA 並參與推動族裔研究
1969年，她與同在加州大學洛杉磯分校（UCLA）就讀、後來成為她丈夫的 Morgan Chu 參加抗議、集會和會議，推動 UCLA 開設全美最早的一批族裔研究項目。[2]
她主修心理學，1969年畢業。[3]
她與 Morgan 均是 UCLA 亞裔美國人研究中心（Asian American Studies Center）的創始人之一。[4]

2013年哈佛與 UCLA 講席
2013年5月，她與 Morgan 承諾向哈佛法學院捐贈500萬美元，設立由院長永久持有的 Morgan and Helen Chu Dean's Professorship。[5]
同年秋，Robert Teranishi 成為 UCLA 的 Morgan and Helen Chu Endowed Chair in Asian American Studies 首位講席教授。[6]
2021年3月Public Counsel
2021年3月，她與 Morgan 向 Public Counsel 捐贈100萬美元，設立首席執行官講席。[7]
2024—2026年大額捐贈
