Plan Basis: Standard Website Prices in November 2026
As checked on November 4, 2026, the website lists Flexible and three Unlimited tiers for individuals and groups of up to six. Prices below are standard single-line monthly charges excluding taxes, devices and temporary promotions. Unlimited branding does not mean unlimited high-speed data.[13]
Flexible: Usage-Based Pricing
Flexible costs $20 per month for one line plus $10 per GB, with data in more than 200 international destinations and hotspot tethering. Data slows to 256 kbps after 15 GB per person.[14]
For one person on Flexible, Bill Protection stops ordinary data charges after 6 GB, capping calls, texts and data at $80. Taxes, devices, international calls and other extras are separate. Group thresholds vary by size, and purchasing full-speed data after 15 GB adds charges.[15]
Unlimited Essentials: Basic U.S. Service
Unlimited Essentials costs $35 for one line, with U.S. calls, texts and data. Each person receives 30 GB of high-speed data, then 256 kbps. Unlike Standard and Premium, it does not provide service for international travel.[16]
Unlimited Standard: U.S., Canada, Mexico and Hotspot
Unlimited Standard costs $50 for one line, with 50 GB of high-speed data and 25 GB of high-speed hotspot use per person, plus service in Canada and Mexico. Hotspot use counts toward the plan’s data allowance; speed limits apply after the relevant allowance.[17]
Unlimited Premium: International Data and Benefits
Unlimited Premium costs $65 for one line, with 100 GB of high-speed data, 50 GB of high-speed hotspot use and data in more than 200 destinations. International high-speed data has a separate 50 GB limit. Benefits include 100 GB of Google One storage and an eligible six-month YouTubeYouTubeYouTube is Google’s video-sharing and creator platform, founded in 2005 by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim and acquired by Google in 2006. International Use: Activation, Warnings and Suspension
The service principally serves U.S. residents. Current help guidance requires activation and at least one day of use in the U.S. before travel. Extended foreign use, typically 50 days, triggers a warning, followed by international-data suspension 30 days after the email. Restoration requires significant U.S. data use for at least 30 days; verified military and State Department exceptions exist.[19]
Security and Family Features: Scope
Fi links numbers to Google Accounts and supports two-step verification, spam blocking and family contact controls. Eligible one-to-one calls between Android phones on Fi are end-to-end encrypted; ordinary SMS does not automatically gain that protection. VPN exceptions and regional limits also apply.[20]
