Predecessor SimilarGroup Founded

In 2007, Or Offer and Nir Cohen founded SimilarGroup, which used algorithms it developed to help users find relevant online content. Its products included SimilarSites, a search engine for finding alternatives to any website, and TopSite, which listed the top ten websites in each category.⁠[1][2][1][1]

Similarweb Ltd. Incorporated

In February 2009, the company was incorporated under the Israel Companies Law and commenced operations, with Or Offer serving as chief executive officer and a board member since that time.
