He said he wanted to raise the public-market share of AI exposure from roughly half to 70–75%, allowing faster portfolio adjustments as technology and markets changed. This was a target, not an achieved allocation.[8]

Sipahimalani studied economics at St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, and business administration at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. UBS’s speaker biography describes his qualifications as a BA (Hons) in economics and an MBA.[5]
He began at Citibank in Mumbai and McKinsey in India, then spent 11 years at Morgan Stanley. His roles included co-head of Asia-Pacific M&A and Singapore-based head of Southeast Asia investment banking.[5]
