On February 16, 2024, Rogo announced a $7 million seed round led by AlleyCorp with participation from Company Ventures, BoxGroup, and ScOp Ventures. Rogo said its mission was to help financial institutions deploy bespoke generative AI; believing that unlocking true value from AI requires purpose-built tooling for each firm, it works closely with clients to address full workflows and real pain points, and its team is made up of ex-hedge fund analysts, ex-bankers, and ex-private equity investors.⁠[1][1][1][1][1]

March–April 2024: CEO Interviews and Product Overview

In March 2024, Gabe Stengel appeared on First Time Founders, a show from Scott Galloway’s Prof G Media hosted by Ed Elson, and Rogo was featured on Morning Brew’s Our Future podcast; Stengel also appeared as a panelist at an AI roundtable held by Fundamental Edge. In the Prof G Media interview, Stengel said full automation was still a long way off and that Rogo replaces work, not people.⁠[2][3][4][2][2]

On April 9, 2024, Rogo published an FAQ explaining that it had fine-tuned large language models for financial services, ingests millions of earnings call transcripts, company filings, investor presentations, and news articles daily, and can integrate firms’ internal memos, presentations, and contracts; every research result comes with in-line citations for each point, and when no source can be found it gives no answer, limiting hallucination. On October 1, 2024, Rogo announced an $18.5 million Series A led by Keith Rabois at Khosla VenturesKhosla VenturesKhosla Ventures (KV) is an American venture capital firm founded in 2004 by Vinod Khosla, the founding CEO of Sun Microsystems, and headquartered in Menlo Park, California. Strategic Partnership with LSEG

On August 20, 2025, Rogo and the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) announced a strategic partnership: LSEG data would be integrated into the Rogo platform, with interoperability between LSEG Workspace and Rogo, so that Rogo customers with a Workspace license could access LSEG data in real time; the first datasets included company fundamentals, estimates, and an M&A database covering more than 1.5 million global transactions.⁠[8][8][8][8]

Acquiring Subset

On September 3, 2025, Rogo announced the acquisition of the spreadsheet agent company Subset, to offer in its platform a spreadsheet agent that understands financial models, connects to data, and integrates into workflows, capable of building models from scratch, rolling them forward, swapping comps, and explaining and fixing errors. Subset was founded by Jason Chan and AJ Nandi and backed by Index Ventures; Chan was previously an investment banker at Bank of America and an investor at Providence Equity Partners, and Nandi studied computer science at the University of Pennsylvania and invested at Insight Partners.⁠[9][9][9][9]

Rahul Rekhi Becomes President

On October 8, 2025, Rogo announced that Rahul Rekhi had joined as President, leading key priorities in strategy, finance, and development and helping scale the organization. Rekhi previously worked as a policymaker and regulator at the White House, the U.S. Treasury Department, and the World Bank, and advised on about $200 billion of transactions at Lazard, where he became the firm’s youngest-ever managing director; Stengel said he had met Rekhi at Lazard.⁠[10][10][10][10][10]

$75 Million Series C and a London Office

On January 28, 2026, Rogo announced a $75 million Series C led by Sequoia Capital, with participation from Henry Kravis and Wells Fargo and continued support from Thrive Capital, Khosla Ventures, Tiger Global, and J.P. Morgan, bringing total funding to more than $165 million; it also opened its first international office in London, led by co-founder John Willett, to accelerate its expansion into Europe. Stengel said that more than 25,000 financial professionals were using Rogo daily, at firms including Rothschild & Co, Jefferies, and Lazard; he recalled that four years earlier the company had asked some of the best firms to try its product.⁠[11][11][11][11][11][11]

Acquiring Offset and Plux

On March 12, 2026, Rogo announced the acquisition of Offset, an HF0-backed AI agent company founded by Raj Khare and Shiv Shrivastava. Offset had spent about eighteen months developing learning agents that operate directly inside investment banking, private equity, hedge fund, and corporate finance workflows, and its technology would be integrated into the Rogo platform.⁠[12][12][12]

On March 23, Rogo further announced that earlier that year it had brought in the team from Plux, a London-based AI company, to strengthen its coverage of UK and European markets. Plux built systems monitoring long-form information such as filings, lender updates, court documents, and company disclosures, and was founded by Deepak Guneja and Pratyush Chaudhary, who joined Rogo to help expand its engineering team in Europe.⁠[13][13][13][13][13]

On April 29, 2026, Rogo announced $160 million in new financing (Series D) led by Kleiner Perkins, with participation from Sequoia, Thrive Capital, Khosla Ventures, J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners, BoxGroup, Mantis VC, Jack Altman, Evantic, and Positive Sum. Rogo said the funds would go toward deeper integrations, more “forward-deployed” bankers and engineers embedded within client firms, and continued expansion across EMEA and Asia.⁠[14][14][14]

Launch Partner for Microsoft Copilot in Excel

On June 26, 2026, Rogo announced that it was one of the first launch partners for Microsoft Copilot in Excel, built for finance; shared customers of Microsoft Copilot and Rogo can use the investment banking, private equity, asset management, and equity research workflows Rogo has built directly within Excel.⁠[15][15][15]

In early August 2026, Rogo launched Deal Room for transaction execution; on August 11, it announced the acquisition of the AI due diligence company Rivanna, integrating its capabilities into Rogo’s agentic platform Felix so that users can work with data room contents within the platform, query tens of thousands of files with fine-grained citations, and manage Q&A and diligence tracking. Acquiring Arvo

On September 1, 2026, Rogo announced the acquisition of Arvo, an AI meeting assistant built for financial institutions. Arvo is designed for the compliance requirements of institutional finance, with configurable controls for retention, meeting restrictions, sensitive content, and disclaimers, and was founded by Kunal Valrani, previously an investment banker and investor at The Raine Group, and software engineer Umer Haider; Rogo plans for information generated in meetings to flow directly into its platform, its Intelligence product, and deals.⁠[17][17][17][17]

On September 10, 2026, Rogo announced strategic investment from Barclays, BNP Paribas (through its venture capital arm Opera Tech Ventures), Citi Ventures, MUFG Innovation Partners, and Societe Generale, as well as from Sixth Street co-founder Josh Easterly; previous strategic investors include J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners and Truist Ventures, among others.
