2003Marcel Saba Founds Redux
Redux Pictures was founded by Marcel Saba in New York in the summer of 2003. Saba began his career at the Gamma Liaison agency and later became director of PictureGroup; in 1989 he formed SABA Press Photos, and in 2000 he sold that company to Corbis and joined it as Vice President for Editorial Photography, resigning in February 2002. Saba founded Redux to set itself apart from the mega-agencies dominating the market, offering high-end work by award-winning photographers with distinctive styles, operating at a medium size, and emphasizing personal relationships with photographers and editors.[1][1][1][1][1][1][1][1]
