On December 9, 2020, PruVen Capital officially launched, with a $300 million multi-stage first fund of which Prudential was the sole limited partner. The fund invests in startups in insurtech, fintech, healthtech, real estate tech, and enterprise IT, focusing on North America, Europe, Japan, Singapore, and Australia; it has a five-year investment period and an annual investment pace of $50 million to $75 million, investing a minimum of $5 million per company, an average of $10 million to $15 million over a company’s lifecycle, and a maximum of $30 million.
