Peter Barber is an entrepreneur, media-technology executive and co-founder of Blackmagic DesignBlackmagic DesignBlackmagic Design is an Australian imaging-technology company established in 2001. Atomos announced completion of its acquisition of all shares in the company operating Flanders Scientific. Barber said the transaction expanded its monitoring range from on-camera capture to post-production and final delivery.[7]
July 24, 2026Company Response to Personal Shareholder Litigation
Responding to media coverage, Atomos confirmed that Barber had brought Federal Court proceedings against Blackmagic in his personal capacity concerning his shareholding. Atomos said it was not involved and that the proceedings did not affect its business or his duties.[8]
