Lori Greiner is an American entrepreneur, inventor and investor who founded consumer-products company For Your Ease Only, worked extensively in television shopping and became an investor on ABC’s Shark Tank. Her work spans household organization, consumer-product investments, publishing and television production.

She studied communications at Loyola University Chicago, worked at the Chicago Tribune while attending college, and pursued playwriting and handmade jewelry design.[3]

She promoted her organizer on HSN. She later recalled selling about 2,000 units in five minutes during her first television demonstration, encouraging her to continue using shopping television.[5]

U.S. patent US6158578A was granted to inventor Lori Greiner for a jewelry holder with movable, interchangeable stands. The application was filed on June 30, 1997, claiming priority from June 14, 1996.[6]
2005–2008Mostly Memories Litigation
After Mostly Memories sued her, her husband and the company, its claims were dismissed with prejudice in 2006. In 2008, the appellate court reversed the denial of attorney fees and ordered most counterclaims reinstated, addressing fees and procedure.[7]
January 5, 2011Calgon Carbon Settlement
Calgon Carbon announced a $4.3 million payment to For Your Ease Only to settle a dispute involving anti-tarnish jewelry-box patents and business relations. For Your Ease Only agreed to withdraw related litigation and an appeal.[8]

On Shark Tank, she agreed to invest $200,000 for a 20% stake in Aaron Krause’s Scrub Daddy, a business built around cleaning sponges.[10]
