In his lawsuit against Stephen Findeisen, known as Coffeezilla, and Findeisen’s company, the court recorded a settlement reported on July 13 and administratively closed the case pending dismissal papers. The order was not a merits ruling and concerned a separate case from the buyers’ lawsuit.[28]

One CryptoZoo plaintiff, Yudesh Ramchand, dismissed his own claims. The filing expressly preserved the remaining named plaintiffs’ and proposed class’s claims; it did not dismiss the entire case.[29]

Ontario’s Capital Markets Tribunal found fraud and securities-law breaches involving Liquid MarketPlace, Bahadori and Nikdel, with sanctions to follow. Paul was not a named respondent, so those findings were not a determination of his personal liability.[30]
