Jason Wersland

Jason Wersland is an American chiropractor, inventor and entrepreneur who developed Theragun and worked with Benjamin Nazarian to commercialize it. He is the founder and chief wellness officer of Therabody, with work spanning product development, education and athlete relationships. He has appeared on School of Hard Knocks.

He recalled beginning to use the device with athletes in 2012, followed by rising demand in 2013. He developed five versions between 2008 and 2016.⁠[7]

Commercial Launch with Benjamin Nazarian

He partnered with Benjamin Nazarian to launch Theragun commercially, beginning with the G1. The company’s tenth-anniversary account identifies March 14, 2016 as its starting date.⁠[8][9]

The company introduced the G2PRO in 2017 and G3PRO in January 2019. His work included product development, athlete relationships and education on using the devices.⁠[8][4]

Expansion Under the Therabody Name
