Key facts

soccer training

Liberty University’s player biography records Davis at the Colorado Rapids Development Academy from 2011 to 2014 and the U17/18 Colorado Real Development Academy, as the university names it, in 2014–2015. The roster lists Plano, Texas as his hometown, rather than establishing a birthplace.[3]

Liberty University

The university’s 2015 men’s soccer roster lists Davis as a freshman goalkeeper wearing number 1 and records a redshirt season. His stated intention was to major in business. The portrait is the university’s historical roster photograph; the record does not establish that he later completed a degree.[3]

2020 role history and early ventures

In a February 2025 profile, Decrypt reported that Davis studied international business at Liberty University before founding Luxury Drip and Leaders Elevate. Citing his then-available LinkedInLinkedInLinkedIn is a social networking platform for professionals. It was founded in 2002 by Reid Hoffman and others, launched in 2003, and listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 2011; after Microsoft acquired it for approximately $26.2 billion in 2016, it became a wholly owned Microsoft subsidiary. Its revenue comes from membership subscriptions, advertising, and recruitment solutions.Open the full entry profile, it dated his Kelsier CEO role to October 2020. That reported personal employment history is distinct from the company’s 2021 legal formation described in later court records.[4][1]

family investment firm

The factual background of the 2026 federal ruling describes Kelsier as a family-run venture-capital firm incorporated under Texas law in 2021 by Davis, Gideon Davis and Charles Thomas Davis. The court drew that background from the complaint and incorporated documents at the dismissal stage; it is not an independently obtained incorporation certificate.[1]

investment, research and marketing

Kelsier’s archived 2024 website divided its work into Ventures for investment and partnerships, Intel for market research, and Architect for go-to-market marketing and advisory services. Its September team page listed Hayden as CEO, Tom as chairman and Gideon as COO. This pre-controversy company description positioned the business beyond a single token.[5][2]

M3M3 launch

M3M3 launched on December 4, 2024. In a written statement reproduced in the court record, Benjamin Chow said he invited Hayden Davis and Kelsier to make the launch an initial case study for the new M3M3 platform and that Davis’s side deployed the token independently. He described subsequent tokenomics changes and a grant to the Meteora community. This was a participant’s account of the division of work.[1]

meeting with Milei

Davis met Argentine President Javier Milei at Casa Rosada on January 30, 2025. The presidential office later confirmed the meeting, saying KIP Protocol representatives introduced Hayden Mark Davis as a project partner who would provide technological infrastructure. It also expressly denied that he had or held a governmental connection. A meeting and provision of advice do not themselves establish a government appointment.[6]

LIBRA launch

LIBRA launched on February 14, 2025 in connection with the private Viva La Libertad project, whose website described support for Argentine entrepreneurship. Milei promoted the project and token address on X, then withdrew the post. Launch pricing, insiders and liquidity decisions later became contested issues in the U.S. complaint, rather than facts established at trial.[1]

written statement

In a written release published by Kelsier, Davis said he was responsible for LIBRA liquidity and remained in control of related fees and treasury funds. He attributed the market panic to Milei’s team withdrawing promotion. The statement, quoted by the court, records his explanation rather than resolving ownership of the money or responsibility for losses.[1]

interview account of his role and funds

In Coffeezilla’s interview, Davis described himself as a launch strategist, denied a rug pull and said he held roughly $100 million as custodian. The interview did not independently audit those assertions.[7]

sniping and MELANIA

Davis acknowledged MELANIA involvement and team sniping, defending it as a response to other snipers. The interviewer challenged the informational advantage and fairness.[7]

debate over refunds

The interviewer advocated loss-based refunds through a trusted third party. Davis discussed refunds, donations or reinjection. This discussion did not establish that any plan was implemented.[7]

Arkham address attribution

On February 19, Arkham published more than 1,000 attributed addresses under separate LIBRA and Kelsier Ventures (Hayden Davis) labels. Its nearly $300 million combined valuation was largely LIBRA and did not establish Davis’s personal net worth.[8]

March–July 2025: U.S. civil action

Omar Hurlock sued in New York state court on March 17; the action was removed to federal court on May 9, and a July 30 amended complaint added Anuj Mehta. Plaintiffs alleged that M3M3 and LIBRA launches, promotion and liquidity arrangements benefited insiders, asserting fraud, civil RICO, consumer-protection and unjust-enrichment claims. Davis and other defendants sought dismissal; the action did not proceed to a trial establishing those allegations.[1]

May–October 2025: asset restraint and dissolution

On May 27, the federal court temporarily directed Circle to freeze about 57.65 million USDC in two wallets and restricted disposition of related LIBRA assets. On August 19 it denied a preliminary injunction and dissolved the restraint; on October 31 it denied reconsideration and a narrower renewed request. Neither provisional restraint nor its dissolution amounted to a final trial determination of fraud liability.[9][10][11]

Argentine investigation

On March 20, 2026, Argentina’s federal prosecution service described continuing investigative and device-forensic work in the LIBRA case. Its earlier international-assistance request concerning about 44.59 million USDC was separate from the U.S. civil restraint. The later dismissal of the U.S. action does not establish that Argentina’s investigation also ended.[12][13]

dismissal of the U.S. action

Southern District of New York Judge Jennifer L. Rochon dismissed the amended complaint. The court found the alleged limited-duration, limited-project conduct insufficient to establish RICO continuity and found personal jurisdiction lacking for the remaining claims against the Kelsier defendants. It denied further amendment, dismissed with prejudice and closed the case. These were legal and procedural dispositions of that civil action, not a criminal acquittal.[1]

counsel’s response

Defense firm Sbaiti & Company announced the result on October 1, presenting dismissal as vindicating its clients’ business position and identifying Cris Armenta as Hayden Davis’s counsel. That assessment was an advocate’s characterization; the September 29 court order supplies the actual grounds.[14][1]

scope of the on-chain snapshot

When accessed on October 12, 2026 UTC, Arkham’s public Kelsier Ventures (Hayden Davis) label showed approximately $2.017 million. This single-label snapshot differs from the combined labels valued near $300 million in 2025, so it cannot directly measure a fall in personal wealth or represent all company assets.[15][8]
