Early Life and Education
Eddie Maalouf has said he grew up around Alpharetta, Georgia, and attended Pinecrest Academy and Bridgeway. In a separate interview, he described his family’s Lebanese background and his parents’ entrepreneurial experience.[1][2]
He later studied business at the University of Georgia and developed a business plan for his family’s Tiny Towne business, through which he began working with online marketing.[3]
Early Sales Experience
Maalouf worked in sales at Life Time Fitness for about six months. He has highlighted customer relationship management systems and consistent prospect follow-up as important practices from that period.[4]

In a VoyageATL interview, Maalouf described moving from marketing his family’s business to serving outside clients. He presented 4Media as a team offering advertising, content production, email and text-message marketing.[3]

October 1, 2023Announcing the Agency Merger
In episode 46 of the company podcast, Maalouf and Hemon Media founder Ashton Shanks discussed merging 4Media Marketing and Hemon into BAD Marketing. Creative director Andrew Deitsch joined the conversation.[7]
November 14, 2023Introducing an Amazon Business Partner
The company podcast released a conversation with marketer Michael Jordan. Its description stated that Jordan’s agency had joined BAD Marketing and that he led the Amazon department.[8]
2026Expanding Scoville’s Leadership Team
Scoville lists former Marco’s Pizza president Bryon Stephens joining its leadership team as a 2026 development, identifying him with franchise development.[6]
September 9, 2026School of Hard Knocks Interview
School of Hard Knocks released an interview introducing Maalouf as BAD Marketing’s founder and CEO. Topics included sales, recruitment, content marketing and running businesses.[9]

BAD Marketing’s website presents Maalouf as its founder and lists services including paid advertising, Amazon store marketing, email and text-message marketing, content production and sales management. Scoville lists him as its CEO.[10][6]
At that time, Scoville’s website listed six operating locations in Georgia and Michigan, while marking Charlotte, Newark and New Brunswick locations as coming soon.[11]
