Milwaukee and Atlanta

The Braves moved to Milwaukee in 1953 and defeated the New York Yankees in the 1957 World Series. They relocated again in 1966, beginning their Atlanta era.[2]

Bobby Cox returned as manager in 1990. Atlanta subsequently won 14 consecutive division titles, five National League pennants during the 1990s and the 1995 World Series. Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine and John Smoltz anchored its starting rotation.[3]

Another World Series championship
