January 13, 2016Renamed Patriot Mobile and Shifted to Conservative Branding
On January 13, 2016, the company was renamed Patriot Mobile LLC. That year it dropped its traditional startup imagery and rebranded to emphasize conservative activism; after the 2016 U.S. presidential election, its branding shifted further to the right and adopted Donald Trump’s style of politics, with one signature advertisement carrying the slogan “Making Wireless Great Again.”[1][2][3][3]
It markets itself as “America’s only Christian conservative wireless provider” and pledges to donate a portion of users’ monthly bills to conservative causes; its founders initially said the beneficiaries would be groups and politicians who opposed abortion, defended religious freedom, protected gun rights and supported the military. The committee’s funding was reported on several bases: according to filings with the Texas Ethics Commission, company executives funded it that year with about $650,000 in cash and in-kind contributions; according to campaign finance reports filed in April, the company had put $500,000 into it, and the committee had spent about $390,000 in four districts, Carroll, Grapevine-Colleyville, Keller and Mansfield; another tally put the company’s contribution at more than $600,000. Business Model and Operating Data
Patriot Mobile owns no spectrum licenses or network infrastructure; instead it buys wholesale capacity on the three major U.S. national wireless networks through aggregators, and customers can choose one or more networks on the same device and account. Its offerings include postpaid voice, text and data service as well as devices, mobile internet, device protection, financing and accessories, and its sales and customer care staff are entirely U.S.-based.[1][1][1][1]
As of December 31, 2025, the company had about 186,000 active wireless lines, 2025 average revenue per user of about $543, a Net Promoter Score of 86, and average monthly churn of about 1% in 2025; it had about 250 employees and contractors, nearly half of them in customer service. The company estimates its core market at about 28.3 million Americans who identify as “very conservative” and currently serves less than 1% of them.[1][1][1][1]
Total revenue grew 24.5%, from $74.69 million in 2024 to $92.96 million in 2025; net losses over the same years were about $6.6 million and $3.3 million, and the company has posted a net loss in every period since its founding. Revenue for the first half of 2026 was $53.39 million, up 21.3% year over year, with a net loss of about $4.59 million compared with $1.81 million a year earlier; revenue for the 12 months ended June 30, 2026, was $102 million.[1][1][1][1][1][10]
Mission, Giving and Political Activity
The company describes its mission as defending “God-given rights and freedoms,” upholding the Constitution, advancing America’s founding principles and glorifying God; the listing entity is a public benefit corporation under Texas law, whose charter states its specific public benefit as protecting connections and community by promoting faith, family and freedom, and its board must balance shareholders’ financial interests against those of other stakeholders.[1][1][1]
Its giving focuses on four areas: defending First Amendment freedoms, protecting Second Amendment rights, advancing the sanctity of life, and serving and honoring the military, veterans and first responders. The company says it gives millions of dollars each year, naming beneficiaries such as Alliance Defending Freedom, First Liberty Institute, the National Rifle Association, Gun Owners of America, Concerned Women for America, Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America and Folds of Honor. It also makes political contributions to candidates, parties and political action committees, and its S-1 lists the related reputational, legal and financial risks as risk factors.[1][1][1][1][1]
