Charles Leatherland

Leatherland 1898年4月18日生于 Birmingham，14岁离开学校。第一次世界大战爆发时他年仅16岁，虚报年龄加入 Royal Warwickshire Regiment 第16营，此后在比利时、法国和德国服役，1918年升任代理连军士长。⁠[1][2][2]
