Benajah Harvey Carroll
Benajah Harvey Carroll（B. H. Carroll，1843年12月27日—1914年11月11日）是美国浸信会牧师、教育家，曾任得克萨斯州 Waco 第一浸信会牧师28年，并长期在 Baylor University 讲授圣经与神学。他推动创办 Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary，该校1908年3月14日获准成立，他任首任校长直至去世。代表作为17卷本《An Interpretation of the English Bible》。

早年与教育
Benajah Harvey Carroll 于1843年12月27日生于美国密西西比州 Carrollton 附近。他1859年进入 Baylor University 就读并获学士学位，后获田纳西大学荣誉文学硕士与神学博士、Keatchie College 荣誉法学博士学位。[1]
1861年参加内战
1861年，Carroll 加入 Benjamin McCulloch 的得州游骑兵，后转入第十七得州步兵团。[1]
1871年出任 Waco 第一浸信会牧师
1871年至1899年，Carroll 任得克萨斯州 Waco 第一浸信会（First Baptist Church）牧师。1872年至1905年，他在 Baylor University 讲授圣经与神学，并自1886年起任该校董事会主席。[1]
1905年组建 Baylor Theological Seminary
1908年3月14日Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary 成立
1908年3月14日，在 Carroll 推动下，Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary 在 Waco 正式获准成立，校董会选举他为首任校长。1910年，学校由 Waco 迁往 Fort Worth。[3]
1913年出版《An Interpretation of the English Bible》
1914年11月11日在 Fort Worth 去世
2021年3月10日讲道集出版
2021年3月，Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary 旗下 Seminary Hill Press 出版《The B. H. Carroll Pulpit》，收录 Carroll 的40篇讲道与演讲，由该校第九任校长 Adam W. Greenway 编辑。[4]
