Gold holds a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience from the University of Colorado Boulder.⁠[1]

HyperGuap’s biography states that he analyzed investment opportunities for a family office, then served as chief of staff and managed investor relations at eGenesis.⁠[1]

In a 2021 article, Gold described his first private investment in June 2020: investing through SpaceFilche, a special-purpose vehicle that invested in another vehicle holding SpaceXSpaceXSpaceX is a company founded by Elon Musk in 2002 whose businesses include space transportation, Starlink satellite communications and artificial intelligence. Gold’s account describes participating in HyperGuap’s February 2021 transaction on CartaX. The vehicle brought together more than 70 members and purchased $10 million of existing Carta shares; that amount was the vehicle’s investment, not Gold’s personal contribution.⁠[3]

Gold states that in April 2021 he began helping Gali Russell with HyperGuap’s investor relations and deal operations, including processing hundreds of applications and completing the Carta transaction.⁠[4]

Writing that November, he still described eGenesis investor relations as his day job and stated that he had helped the company raise $225 million across two rounds.⁠[4]

The introduction to HCBN episode 1 on HyperChange’s hosting page names Galileo Russell and Aidan Gold as co-hosts of a discussion about technology and investment news.⁠[5]

In May 2025, Ensemble VC published a welcome announcement introducing Gold as an Investment Associate working on early-stage investment sourcing and execution.⁠[6]

Ensemble’s annual meeting recap, published on May 18, 2026, stated that Gold led its pre-seed efforts and had moderated an early-stage founders panel at the preceding meeting.⁠[7]
